Handmade terracotta pot for small plants that decorate the (most lived-in) spaces of our homes. The crafts technique of turning, applied with great mastery enhances the simple, unique details. The colored and glazed collar “frames” the plant and offers an easy grip, triggering an original contrast with the very natural look of the external terracotta.
The names for all of InternoItaliano’s objects are a tribute to minor Italians towns and villages, those that are rarely celebrated, but nonetheless are just as real and representative of a suffused and authentic national identity. Pofi is a comune (municipality) of about 4,200 inhabitants in the province of Frosinone in the Italian region Lazio.

Pofi / Designer
Mario Scairato lives and works between Milano and Paestum, the city where he comes from.
He graduated in Industrial Design at the IUAV/Università della Repubblica di San Marino in 2011. From 2012 che collaborates wih Giulio Iacchetti as a product and graphic designer, developing projects for Nike, Savinelli, Comieco, Nodus, Niasca Portofino, Surfer’s Den. From 2015, as a freelance, he designed for Alessi, Bear, Cotto Manetti, Internoitaliano, Moleskine.
