Bard has a beech plywood structure, polyurethane foam padding and Lycra upholstery with a print showing the texture of the concrete. The pouf was born as a tribute to the city of Milan; shape and texture, in fact, echo those of the “panettone” -shaped concrete parking bollards, distributed among the metropolitan streets. The allusion is ironically played on the theme of comfort: an uncomfortable and repulsive object par excellence becomes soft and, therefore, attractive.
