The Dorica ceramic tableware collection, designed by Mario Scairato and Alessandro Stabile, is a project dedicated to a particular Italian territory, Cilento, that is Campania, in the province of Salerno which sees the city of Paestum as its fulcrum. Not only a territory steeped in history, but also a very rich agri-food culture (land of buffalo mozzarella, pasta makers, excellent primary agriculture) and a world-renowned ceramic tradition such as that of Vietri sul Mare, a bulwark of the Amalfi coast a few km north of Paestum.

The hand-made enamelling is available in six bright colors chosen in line with the local ceramic tradition. Robust, concrete and colorful, Dorica dishes are created for the everyday table, with a thought to the atmosphere and “warmth” of southern Italy.
